I get nice, but CHEAP frames at the Thrift Store/Goodwill. Garage sales work well, too. Since the frame is the expensive part I don't worry too much with the tacky pictures that come with...throw them out and insert something of your own. You can replace the mat board with nice, heavy-weight card stock if you want. You can also skip the mat altogether and simply press the photo between two pieces of glass and let it 'float' in the frame!
