...Photo Wall

I have recently been craving one of those BEAUTIFUL Pottery Barn Photo Walls like these:

I do not however want to spend $600 dollars on making my room beautiful! AND I want to fill the frames with pictures of my friends and family instead of numbers and plants. AND I am Definitely in for the use of Shadow boxes… and NO BLACK, we own nothing black. SOOO… if any of you great design brains out there want to tell me how to pull this look off on a budget… make it happen k? Thanks!

  1. I don't know about 'great design brain', but you know I like a good budget! I get nice, but CHEAP frames at the Thrift Store/Goodwill. Garage sales work well, too. Since the frame is the expensive part I don't worry too much with the tacky pictures that come with...throw them out and insert something of your own. You can replace the mat board with nice, heavy-weight card stock if you want. You can also skip the mat altogether and simply press the photo between two pieces of glass and let it 'float' in the frame! A little spray paint and elbow grease is all a good photo wall needs!
